Anita Dixon attended Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont in 2005-2006 and transferred to the University of Southern Maine in Gorham, Maine where she earned her bachelor of science degree in sports medicine in May, 2009. She then attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where she obtained her master of science in athletic training degree in 2010 after which she attended the University of New England in Portland, Maine where she graduated in May 2016 with a master of science degree in physician assistant studies.
Anita joined Seacoast Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in December 2016 and is on staff at both Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, New Hampshire and Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New Hampshire. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and also certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. She works closely with Dr Mark Geppert and has a continued interest in sports medicine.
